This year’s theme, Nature × Mankind, explores the relationship between humanity and the natural world. Aruba Happiness Beads Project 2025
‘When I set out to design for this project I realized it couldn’t be just ‘any’ bead…. The bead needed a story.’
‘I soon came to realize the story was actually already around me; being fortunate to live in a destination named ‘One Happy Island’ . The Aruba Happiness Bead was born.
Each hand-crafted glass bead represents the positive energy of the island, inspired by its glorious elements and warmth of its people. By gifting the bead we are able to share our love, good energy and joy from our One Happy Island.

THE TRANSPARANT BREATH VENICE ~ ITALY
The international exhibition dedicated to contemporary glass jewelry.
Venice, September 2023 – The Transparent Breath is the cultural event that celebrates the union between art, design and craftsmanship, with an emphasis on the talent and creativity of international artists who dedicate themselves to the creation of unique jewelry using glass as the main medium. This exhibition offers the public a detailed overview of the world of glass jewelry.
The exhibition will host the creations of 20 selected artists from different parts of the world, each of which will bring with it a unique artistic vision and unique technical skills. The variety of expressive approaches represents a complete exploration of the possibilities that glass offers in the field of contemporary jewelry and the ornament.

About SIERAAD ART FAIR:
SIERAAD a very special fair where artist from all over the world present unique, personally designed and crafted pieces of jewellery. Here, the emphasis is on jewellery as pieces of art in which ideas are packaged in materials such as rubber, textile, photos, plastics, wood or ceramics, as well as silver and gold. Also on display will be traditional pieces of art produced by contemporary silver and goldsmiths. Artist-designers from all corners of the globe, will be exhibiting exciting work not found anywhere else.
Loretti Design Launches POP UP GALLERY

Loretti Design launched its latest concept, the Loretti Design Pop Up Gallery .
Deborah de Weerd, the designer and creative force behind the Loretti Design Collection, presented the custom designed and fully self supporting pop up gallery. A portable tailor made flight case with integrated led lighting and wooden, flexible interior provided a platform to exhibit the artisanal locally designed products.
'As a local artist, being able to interact with those interested in art and design is highly energizing. I have been welcoming guests to my studio for some time which enables a personal connection and allows me to create custom designs.
Being part of Aruba’s creative industry and in particular the artisanal product, made in Aruba, it is exciting to start working with this new Pop Up concept. It will provide a more flexible platform to showcase the latest Loretti Design collection and connect with a broader audience.'
